Winter.   I   know   that   many   people   love   this   time   of   year.   Me   not.   Anyone,   but   not   me. They   say   that   you   will   necessarily   love   the   winter   if   you   were   born   in   winter.   And   here not.   January   3   is   indicated   in   my   passport   as   a   date   of   birth.   I   still   do   not   like   winter, and my birthday is the most unloved holiday. I   tried   to   love   this   season.   Honestly.   I   resigned   myself   to   the   snow   and   cold   outside, but   if   it's   cold   in   the   house,   it   irritates   me.   I   do   not   like   to   wear   thousands   of   clothes.   I do   not   like   the   fact   that   I   can   not   sit   with   a   book   on   the   terrace.   Sitting   with   a   book   by the fireplace is not my kind of leisure. But   most   of   all   I'm   worried   about   the   cold   inside   me.   With   the   onset   of   November,   I'm freezing.        And        maybe        I'm hibernating    like    a    bear.    Did    you know   that   a   bear's   hibernation   is analogous    to    a    person's    coma? That   sounds   good.   Just   wake   me up in the spring. Those   who   love   winter   never   broke   the   key   in   the lock   of   the   car.   Or   did   not   break   the   bones,   due to the fact that he slipped and fell. I   was   at   the   lake   today.   Above   him   stood   a   fog like steamed milk. I   remembered   the   book   "Moominland   Midwinter" of   the   Finnish   writer   Tove   Jansson.   In   it,   the   one magical   character   -   the   mummy-troll   -   woke   early and   ended   up   in   the   heart   of   winter.   It   seems   to me   that   I   really   understood   his   confusion   only now. “All    things    are    so    very    uncertain,    and    that's exactly what makes me feel reassured.” ― Tove Jansson, Moominland Midwinter. All that remains is to warm yourself with warmth from other people. Billings has so many wonderful people, so it's not difficult!
