A $1.37 million plan to install conventional curb and gutter or ribbon curb and reconstruct the Poet Streets neighborhood north of Poly Drive and west of Virginia Lane was approved. "It is the very nice neighborhood with very bad streets", - Public Works Director Dave Mumford noticed. His stuff did the wonderful job, they knocked on every door and talked to people about that problem and the ways to solve it. A lot of people came Monday Night to ask mayor to help them with their Poet Streets neighborhood "I am here tonight to ask you for the council's support of the approved for the Poem streets. We are really impressed with the work what was done by engineers to create that project. I can here stand and complain about how bad that roads were for the past 30 years but I rather tell you the story of our neighborhood", the lady who at the Poet Streets neighborhood said. And she told that her husband and her lived 33 years and that place, that they host their daughter wedding in their backyard with help of their neighbors, they have searched for lost puppy and organize garage sales", they created neighborhood watch groups, they have celebrated birthdays and more divorces, organized credit vine groups, film club  and mommy-baby groups and etc etc She asked in the end to have streets which they can walk and drive without falling and braking their car. The story real touch mayor and council members. They voted  10-0  and people responded with applause
