Wise Wonders is collecting donations of new socks on behalf of Family Promise of Yellowstone Valley. Bring new socks to Wise Wonders from December 1st to December 31st. Family Promise is a local non-profit that provides meals, shelter, and a non-judgmental environment for families experiencing homelessness. #metoo meet Starts at 10.30 am Bin 119 Kitchen & Wine Bar 119 N Broadway We are so excited for the wonderful voices participating in this event. At our first meeting, We decided on January 20th as our performance date. If you're still interested, but couldn't make it to our first meet, our next one is planned for December 31st at 1030a at Bin 119 You can RSVP on the event or by email. #metoo has inspired women to come forward with their experience with assault and harassment, but many still have not found their voice. We want to give women an opportunity to share their stories privately or publicly through performance. If you would like to participate, please email backyardtheatermt@gmail.com. You can chose how you would like to participate, whether it's through writing and performing or just giving encouragement. We will have a private Facebook group and have meetings to help shape what the show will look like. Women have so many stories and such rare opportunities to share them. Please know, you aren't alone. Join us as we help the little ones celebrate the New Year under the EEC ZooPavilion. Dress warm!. The event will include crafts and activities for kids and a ball dropping and celebration toast (apple juice) at Noon. Guests can visit with the animals and they are welcome to bring sleds and enjoy some snow-filled fun on the hills in the Bison Field near the zoo’s Homestead House if there is snow. Mountain Mudd will be selling warm refreshments. The zoo will be open regular hours, 10am to 2pm, so guests can come early and stay after the event to enjoy the zoo. It is a regular Zoo admission day and free for members. Noon Year’s Eve is sponsored by Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company. Read more
